Malware is any sort of malicious software that infects your computer without your knowledge and/or compliance. The most common forms of malware are viruses, followed closely by trojans.
Countries in Asia seem to be the most infected and Western Europe seems to be the least infected. The United States is somewhere in the middle at 30 percent of its computers being infected.
