May is Foster Care Month – so in order to raise awareness of this, Creating a Family has put together a very informative infographic. There are currently 102,000 foster care kids that are waiting to find their forever home. Unfortunately, there is a stigma on foster care adoption, and we are hoping that our infographic will help bring awareness and educate people on foster care adoption facts.

If you don’t think you qualify to become a foster care parent, think again. You don’t need to be under 50 years old to adopt from foster care. You don’t need to be married in order to adopt from foster care. And you don’t need to be a stay-at-home mom either!
