Don’t Take Gravity for Granted: The Science of Weightlessness

When the first man stepped on the moon, little did he know that for years to come many would wonder what that experience was like – particularly living in space with no gravity. Wouldn’t it be cool and adventerous to live without any gravity? Who wouldn’t want to “swim” through the air to get around.

Living without gravity for a prolonged amount of time can cause health issues such as weakened bones, a shrinking heart and directional confusion. But, living in space isn’t that bad, right? Of course not! For one thing, the scale will say you weigh significantly less – who wouldn’t like that?!
