Business Presentation Technology In The Early 19th Century

People began using magic lanterns, which were like an overhead projector. They projected light from glass slides onto the wall. These were originally lit by candlelight.

In the mid 1930s the 35mm slide film was invented and introduced. By the 1950s, carousel slide projectors could hold dozens of slides.  Who was the inventor of the slide carousels? The name was Louis Misuraca. He was actually paid a one-time fee from the Eastman Kodak Company, but did not earn royalties.

Whiteboards began to appear in classrooms and began to replace blackboards.

PowerPoint 1.0 was released in 1987 for Mac only.

PowerPoint is now installed on over 1,000,000,000 computers worldwide.

Business Presentation Technology 2010 to Present

Tablets were introduced a few years ago. Since their introduction, they have taken over the market. Many business communications are now performed on tablets and mobile devices. About 1 out of every 10 presentations are viewed on a mobile device now.
